On 9 May 2026, EUROPE DIRECT Gozo organised Europe Day Gozo 2026 at Villa Rundle Gardens, Victoria, as part of the Spring Fair organised by the Ministry for Gozo and Planning.
Throughout the day, the event brought together various EU information and service providers, offering visitors the opportunity to learn more about the European Union, its work, and the opportunities available to citizens. The stands and activities covered a range of themes, including education, the environment, youth participation, and European initiatives.
EUROPE DIRECT Gozo was also pleased to welcome Dr Lydia Abela, who was accompanied by Hon. Clint Camilleri, Minister for Gozo and Planning. During their visit, they toured the stands and met with the participating organisations, gaining further insight into the work being carried out by the different entities present.
The event provided an engaging public platform to promote European values, strengthen awareness of EU services, and encourage direct interaction between citizens and organisations active in different sectors.
