This event was held on the 16th February 2019 at The Duke Shopping Mall in Gozo organized by The Europe Direct Information Centre – Victoria Gozo and the Europe for Citizens Contact Point in Malta with the support of the European Parliament Office in Malta.
Apart from distributing EU publications and other promotional material to people visiting our stand, we prompted them to discuss their views on issues regarding the EU with respect to the upcoming elections. People also had the opportunity to participate in an activity which involved taking a photograph displaying the priority issue of their choice upload the photo on their face book page and tag Europe Direct Information Centre – Victoria Gozo and Europe for Citizens Contact Point Malta and be eligible to win a Samsung 10” tablet.
It was a very successful event and one which gave a better insight into current issues in the EU.
